A Day of Rest

I've just gotten home after a week on the road with hubby, so I'll take today to regroup. The girls need a bath and a trim. Laundry is done and suitcase not packed, but not unpacked either. You never know when you might have to be ready for another over the road trip. And I need to gather some sewing and craft projects. I really am wanting to make a trip to my fav quilt shop, but not sure I want to go today.
So that's today adventures.

What it's about

I'm starting this blog so anyone who's interested in the life of a woman truck driver can follow along on my adventures.
Sometimes I'm an over the road driver and sometimes I just drive local. Other times I team with my hubby. It just depends on what's happening at the company. But no matter what I do, I enjoy driving, seeing new places or revisiting places I've already been.
I Love crafting, quilting, reading and take it with me whenever I can in the truck. It might be punch needle, embroidery, rug hooking, locker hooking or any other thing I'm into at the moment.
I have 2 Diva Dogs that travel with me on long hauls. I'll post pics later. But they are my best friends when I travel alone.
I hope this gives you an idea of what it's like being a woman driver. Sometimes it's good, sometimes not so much.
